CD-Keys Direct was founded on the 5th May 2008 with the aim of providing affordable ways for gamers to buy different games. The price of boxed games at retail stores were simply not affordable for many people and hence many would resort to downloading pirated copies of the game and going into a lot of trouble to play online through private servers.
